When I said, "My foot is slipping," your love, O Lord, supported me. When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought joy to my soul.
Psalm 94: 18-19 (NIV)
I have quite a lot my mind - my own stressors, and those of others near me.
Lysa TerKeurst wrote of "Mommy Guilt" recently - I definitely have that.... She also wrote about eating healthy - I have a problem with that, too.
I've been spending lots of time thinking about a potential change - praying for God's wisdom and clear guidance.
Who hasn't been thinking about the economy and its affects on ourselves, our friends, our country, our world?
I have four more weeks of graduate school - lots and lots to complete between now and then....
The tremendous, and sometimes overwhelming, needs of others....
- My dear grandparents;
- Little Ella, who was burned by hot tea on Sunday and is now in the hospital;
- Children and families in third world countries, and in our own communities;
- MVNU students leaving for the summer not knowing how they will afford to return in the fall;
- Two friends who have recently broken their legs - right before summer fun;
- Several families in need of selling their homes;
- My son, Tyler, and his physical healing;
- Friends in MV who are facing incredible adversity right now.
Psalm 94: 18-19 (NIV)
Lord, May it be to me as You have said.... Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
